Show horses made their presence known in the Premier Indoor Arena earlier this afternoon. Six off-the-track horses were invited to be assessed by a panel of industry experts on their conformation, soundness, manners, paces, and presentation. Gina Schick from Event Stars, Cherry Taylor from Trelawney Stud and top Australian show rider Mark Kenzig assessed the horses presented to them, firstly inhand, and then ridden, with Mark Kenzig then riding each horse to feel their schooling and way of going. The eventual Champion and winner of the custom-made Show Circuit Magazine garland was successful show hack and current Hack of the Year title[Office1] holder, Lady's Honour RP, owned and ridden by Vanessa Everton, who impressed all three judges. Coming forward to be sashed reserve champion was Natalie Toeke's High Class ridden by Chris McKechnie who competes in Riding Horse classes.
